## \uD83E\uDD14 Problem

There is a widget available for portal that can be used to show the twitter feed from any account. Currently most of the widget doesn’t show any tweets or shows older tweets. The feed is not updating regularly as per the account connected to the widget.

## \uD83C\uDF31 Solution

Unfortunately we can’t do much in this scenario as this is completely a third party feature and dependent on twitter(Currently X). The root of the issue is from their side. 

## **Cause: **

Recently twitter made some changes in their timeline feature, which cause this issue. They are still working on this. This stopped the auto update of tweets, which is causing the feed to be of old ones. 

But for free accounts currently the feed doesn’t show anything at all. If you’ve your account’s feed added and you’re logged into twitter at the time then you might see the feed. But this is not an ideal situations and may not work for all account.

It works if the account has a **yellow or blue checkmark** (i.e. **verified/premium** status), then it shows the feed.
