## \uD83E\uDD14 Problem

When loaning a copy from the self-issue system, the loan due-date is set to current date/today. Though the copy has a greater loan due date set, like 2 weeks or one months. The copy is not a reference copy either.

## \uD83C\uDF31 Solution

The reason is there is no non-working days calendar set for the year, under which the future due-date would be. Like there is no non-working days calendar set for 2024, so the date only set current date. The system functions in a way that when it calculates the due date without taking the non-working days in account. So it’s important to set the non-working days calendar.

After creating non-working days calendar the loan due date will be set correctly for any copies.

To create the non-working days calendar, go to **System Management> Non working days Calendar.**

Then select the Office and a year for which the calendar will be generated. Then select the standard non-working days in the weeks like Saturday & Sunday. Then click on populate. The calendar will be generated with non working days marked in red.

After generating the calendar, you can select other days as non working days by just click on the date. Then save the calendar.
