The above message refers to a service on the Web Server which processes automated tasks such as sending overdue notices, request confirmation emails and data imports.  **It does not prevent the system from being used. **

If your site is in Test or Project phase this message is normal and nothing to worry about. It is often not set up until Go Live to avoid unnecessary messages going out to users.

If your system is Live please alert [helpdesk@soutron.com](mailto:helpdesk@soutron.com) (or [helpdesk@soutronglobal.com](mailto:helpdesk@soutronglobal.com) in North America) to this message only after it has displayed for more than 30 minutes.

The reason for this is that if we are performing server or site maintenance we must stop the service to process some changes.

Most notable are version upgrades to the application. We will restart the service as soon as we complete our work.

If your Soutron site is within your own premises (in-house) ask your IT administrator to restart the 'Soutron TS' service on the Web Server. This can be found via the Services.msc (your Web Administrator will understand this). In some cases, the service is named 'Soutron Task Service.'
