In Version 4.01 and above, some hot keys have been applied to some key functions on Catalogue View, Edit and Locations pages.

 

Due to the way that different browsers handle hot keys and also use some keys for their own functions, the way that hot keys are used will vary between browsers but below is provided the combination of key(s) required followed by the relevant hot key for each function.  For example in Google Chrome to Save a Record you will press the **Alt** key and the **S **key.

 

**Browser Combination**

Chrome: Alt + Hotkey  
IE: Alt + Hotkey then Enter  
Firefox: Shift + ALT + Hotkey  
Safari: Not yet tested

For example, if you want to save a record here are the key combinations for each browser:

Chrome: Alt S  
IE: Alt S then press Enter  
Firefox: Shift ALT S
