Soutron's RFID implementation is SIP2 compliant which means it can communicate with any other SIP2 enabled RFID software.

##  **Soutron RFID Configuration**

 **Server side configuration**

 The configuration process requires some configuration at the server level, If you wish to begin using RFID with Soutron LMS please contact the helpdesk who will assist you with the set-up process.

 

**Application configuration**

 In System configuration maintenance open the RFID tab.

In here you need to specify a unique username and password that will be used to configure the connection to the RFID software. Also a Port and Host (IP) address are required, these will be provided by Soutron support if you are hosted.

 If you are self-hosting Soutron the host field should be set as an IP address, which is not bound to any other website.
