Select **System Management >> Task Maintenance** to open the Task Management Centre which is where all task services can be operated.

To De-activate the Overdue Notices task:

1. Select the overdue task(s) either by clicking on it or ticking the box next to it
2. Click **Change status of task(s)** in the Actions menu.
3. The task will move to the botttom of the task list and will be shown with a red cross
4. You can re-activate the task(s) by selecting overdue tasks with a red x and clicking **Change status of task(s) **and the task will be shown with a green tick.
