You can define at the system level whether any requesting is allowed in the system or not, and this cannot be overridden by any other setting. This level also defines how many active loans and requests that a user may have at any one time.

**To define system settings for requests, select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**System Management > OPAC Maintenance**</span> **<span style="color: #ff0000">> Options</span>**

There are a number of settings which relate to Requests and Reservations, in various parts of the screen.

Enter the information as follows:

|  |  |
| --- | --- |
| **Default Request Processing Office** | Select the Office from the drop-down list |
| **Show Request Processing Office selection** | Yes / No |
| **Show Preferred Delivery Method selection** |  |
| **Show user notes in Request Wizard** |  |
| **Allow request note** |  |
| **Default Delivery Method** | Select Collection or Send from the drop-down list |


When you have made the required changes, click either **Save** or **Save and Close** in the Actions menu.
