The OPAC menu includes a link to a Help Guide. This can be one provided by Soutron or one that is created by the System Administrator.

There are two versions of the OPAC Help supplied by Soutron:

- **Lite version:** for clients who have not implemented additional features such as Reviews & Ratings - [http://help.soutron.net/opaclite/](http://help.soutron.net/opaclite/)
- **Full version:** describes all options available in the OPAC - [http://help.soutron.net/opacfull/](http://help.soutron.net/opacfull/). This is the default version.

Use Menu Configuration to change the version of the OPAC Help Guide to be used. Replace Soutron's with a link to a customised Help Guide, if one has been created separately.

# Specifying the version of the OPAC Help Guide

**To change the version,** **select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**System Management > Menu Configuration**</span>.

1. In the middle of the screen is a drop-down list with GLMS specified. There are three options  OPAC, Guest or GLMS.
2. Select either OPAC or Guest depending on which OPAC function the Help Guide is to be linked. The display changes to show the menu options for the type of user to which the Help Guide is to apply.
3. A list of options is presented on the right hand side of the screen, with a  tick box at the left side of each one. Select the one describing the Help function
4. Next, click the button **Edit Option** that is displayed below the list. The following screen opens:> Macro (inline-media-image)
5. Amend the URL in the "Process to Run" box, and optionally change the Description. Tthis is what appears on the menu. It is recommended that you leave the Menu Target option as "New Window", so that the Help Guide opens in a new window.
6. When finished making changes click **Save**.
