All chosen settings are automatically applied to all new export reports that are created in [Report Maintenance](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3279215). The purpose of this menu and its functions are to set up the default values and settings for a report to use to save having to set them up individually each time a report is to be created. These defaults can be changed when you set up a specific report, as long as they have been allowed in the [Global Settings](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3278334). Reports can be configured for use when the user is in a specific OPAC, using a specific Language and using a specific [Application Mode](#)). This allows a system administrator to set up reports for output that are restricted to a particular OPAC and contain specific content. Setting up the Report Defaults is generally a one-time task, apart from later amendments: it does not need to be done every time you create a report. --- **To access Report Defaults, select** **Modules > Export > Export Report Defaults**.
