A Website or URL field stores links to one or more external web sites, including YouTube videos.

# Adding website links

One or several links can be created within this Field. It is necessary to complete an entry to pressing ADD when a link has been entered in order to save the entry into this field. 

1. To add a URL link to a URL Field, type or copy and paste the web address into the Address box, for example [http://www.soutron.com](http://www.soutron.com), and a brief description in Description.
2. Click **Add** to the right of the field entry.
3. The URL information is then displayed below the Data Entry box.
4. The link is immediately live and can be tested.

Additional websites can be added in the same way.

# Adding YouTube links

1. To add a YouTube link to a URL Field, type or copy and paste the web address into the Address box, for example <span style="color: #810081">[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuyZSorINVg](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuyZSorINVg)</span>. Delete everything except the code at the end after the = sign.
2. Add a brief description into the right hand box (otherwise only the code will display in the record).
3. Click **Add** to the right of the field entry.
4. The information is then displayed below the Data Entry box.

5. The link is immediately live and can be tested.

Additional YouTube links can be added in the same way.

# Re-ordering data

To change the order of the entries listed, use the blue **Up** and **Down** links to the right of the entries to move an entry up and down.

# Editing website/YouTube links

To edit a website entry:

1. Click **Edit** to the right of the field.
2. The information appears in the input boxes.
3. Make the required changes, then click **Add** to the right of the field.

The amended data then appears below the input boxes.

# Deleting website/YouTube links

To delete a website entry, click **Delete** to the right of the field.

# How the link appears in search results

## Search Results table

In the Search Results Brief Display, the link is displayed as an icon (this may differ between systems depending on the preference of the System Administrator):

Hover your cursor over it to show the text entry rather than the URL link.

Note that only the first website entry can be accessed from the Search Results Brief Display .

## Full Record display 

This screen shows all of the website entries.

In the Full Record Display, the text entry is displayed and links to the specified URL:

Clicking on a YouTube link opens up the Soutron player, with your description as a header:
