You can define your own fields for use with the thesaurus, so that additional information can be added to term entries.   To access Thesaurus User Defined Fields, select     Thesaurus > Application setup > Thesaurus User Defined Fields   . The following screen is displayed: Creating a User Defined Field To create a User Defined Field: Click  Create  in the Actions menu         Enter the following information (all fields are mandatory): Once you are finished, click  Save  in the Actions menu             Editing a user-defined field To edit a user-defined field: Select  Edit  for the field you wish to edit Make the required changes and click  Save  in the Actions menu     Deleting a user-defined field Note that you cannot delete a user-defined field if it has been used in a thesaurus: if you try you will see this message:   To delete a user-defined field: Select  Edit  for the field you wish to delete Click  Delete  in the Actions menu Note that the field is deleted straight away, with no warning
