When a user accesses the portal for the first time, or have not accessed it for several months they will be presented with a small pop-up in the bottom right corner asking them to accept cookies.

> ✅ Cookie consent can be disabled in OPAC maintenance if you wish.

The dismiss and allow cookie buttons are fixed as is the link to our [cookie policy](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AP/pages/1441800). However you can change the text which is displayed in the pop-up if you wish to do so, this is done via template maintenance in the new interface.

To override our default text you will need to create a new template, be sure to set Type as 'Cookie Policy Template', then set your text and style it as required.
