Text fields allow you to enter standard unformatted text. It may be single or multi-line.

Text fields appear on the edit screen as follows - examples are shown of single and multi-line text boxes:

# Entering data

Enter the information into the box. If it is a multi-line box, it will expand as you continue to add data.

It is possible to insert some default text automatically into a specific text field so that when you create a new record, the default values automatically appear.

# Editing and deleting data

Editing and deleting of data is done in exactly the same way as in Word.
