This tab allows you to specify your British Library customer code and password for the [ART format](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3276985) which is used for [Interlibrary Loans](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3277005). All other settings should be left as they are, as they allow records to be formatted correctly for sending to the British Library.

**To access System Configuration Maintenance, select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**System Management > System Configuration Maintenance**</span>.

Click on the ART Format tab to display the page as follows:

The table below explains the function of each setting:

| **Setting** | **Function** | **Default value** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **ART Customer Code** | Enter your library's British Library customer code | {none} |
| **ART Password** | Enter your library's British Library customer password | {none} |
| **ART Footer** | Leave this setting | NNNN |
| **Truncate fields if more than characters** | Leave this setting | 37 |
| **Separator for multi-valued fields** | Leave this setting | ; |

 

Change the top two settings as required.

Then click **Save and close** in the Actions menu when you have finished.
