Item Search allows you to search for individual copy records by barcode, and see details about that copy, its loan history, and other copies for the same title.

> ⚠️ Note that this function is for information only: no actions are available from here.

**To search for items by barcode, select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**Modules > Loans > Item Search**</span>.

The following screen is displayed:

Scan the barcode or enter it manually into the search box, then click **Search** or press Enter.

The details of the copy record are displayed:

### Viewing loan history

To see the loan history for the copy, click on the "History" tab.

The loan history is displayed, including the current loan if applicable:

### Viewing other copies of the same title

To see other copies of the same title, click on the "All Copies" tab.

The copy information is shown as follows:
