This section describes the process of editing an Import Profile.

**To access Importing, select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**Modules > Import > Import Maintenance**</span>.

The page displays as follows:

This shows import profiles that have been defined previously.


Make the required changes to the profile. Types of change that might be required are:

- the file name or path name of the source data
- addition or deletion of fields


> ❌ **Caution**! If you upload a new sample file, all your mappings will be lost and you will need to start again

When you have finished, click **Save & Exit** in the Actions menu: you will be returned to the list of Import profiles.

To exit the record without saving, click **Cancel** in the Actions menu.
