Orders can be copied at any time, irrespective of their order status. You might want to do this if you are ordering the same item again from the same supplier, at a later date.

Copying an order also copies all the line items.

> ℹ️ If you copy an order for a journal subscription, it will copy the routing list as well

**To find an existing order, select** <span style="color: #ff0000">**Modules > Acquisitions > Order Management**</span>.

A list of all active orders is displayed:

To copy an order: 

1. Click on the binoculars icon to the right of the order that you wish to copy
2. The same screen opens as for [editing an order](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3277910):> Macro (inline-media-image)
3. Click on **Copy Order**
4. A new order is created, with the line items as the original order.
5. You now have the options to:
  1. [amend the order details](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3277910) such as supplier, ordering office
  2. [add](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3277948) or [amend](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3277938) line items
6. When you have finished, [complete](https://soutron.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HG/pages/3278533) the order as normal
