## Scope

**Soutron Global Inc **complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  **Soutron Global Inc** has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and Swiss-U.S. DPF.  **Soutron Global Inc **has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) Program, and to view our certification, please visit [https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/](https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/)

## Personal Data Processing by Soutron

The processing by **Soutron Global Inc **of customer Personal Data for which it is a data processor is governed by our [Product Privacy Notice](https://support.soutron.net/space/AP/1441803). Customers control their Personal data content; for example, customers regulate access to their **Soutron Global Inc **SaaS solutions as well as what Personal Data (if any, and its origin) they upload to our SaaS solutions. The customer selects the region where data is stored.

## Personal Data Collection and Use 

**Soutron Global Inc **collects personal data directly from its Customers, prospective customers and suppliers. This collection occurs, for example, when a person visits **Soutron Global Inc's **website. The company may use this information for the purposes indicated in the [Website Privacy Notice](https://www.soutron.com/about-us/terms) and [Product Privacy Notice](https://support.soutron.net/space/AP/1441803) as well as for account management purposes to provide a service to the customer. The types of Customer personal data **Soutron Global Inc **collects includes: 

- Contact information, such as (but not limited to) name, postal address, email address and telephone number;
- Company/organization details, such as (but not limited to) name, postal address, email address and telephone number, website address, and industry;
- Personal data in the content Consumers provide on **Soutron Global Inc’s **website and other data collected automatically through the website (such as IP addresses, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our website, and dates and times of website visits);
- In addition, **Soutron Global Inc **obtains personal data, such as contact information and financial account information, of its Suppliers. **Soutron Global Inc **uses this information to manage its relationships with its Suppliers, process payments, expenses and reimbursements, and carry out **Soutron Global Inc’s **obligations under its contracts with the Suppliers; **Soutron Global Inc **also may obtain and use Consumer personal data in other ways for which **Soutron Global Inc **will provide specific notice at the time of collection.
- No personal information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

**Soutron Global Inc **does not collect or store “Sensitive Information” such as medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or information about the sex life of the individual.

## Choice

To the extent required by the DPF Principles, **Soutron Global Inc **will offer individuals the opportunity to choose (opt out) when their Personal Data is (a) to be disclosed to certain third parties, or (b) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. 

## Data Transfers to Third Parties

#### **Third-Party**

**Soutron Global Inc **is responsible for the processing of E.U./U.K. Personal Data it receives under the DPF Principles and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent or sub processor on its behalf. **Soutron Global Inc **shall remain liable under the DPF Principles if its agent processes E.U./U.K. Personal Data in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles, unless the organization proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. 

**Soutron Global Inc** only transfers data to third-parties where is it necessary to provide, maintain or support our products & services. Such third-parties include providers such as (nut not limited to) data centers, email and CRM systems. #### Disclosures for National Security or Law Enforcement 

Under certain circumstances, **Soutron Global Inc **may be required to disclose your E.U./U.K. Personal Data in response to valid requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

## Security 

**Soutron Global Inc **is committed to safeguarding Personal Data that it receives. **Soutron Global Inc **takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect Personal Data in **Soutron Global Inc’s **possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.  

## Data Integrity and purpose

**Soutron Global Inc **limits the customer personal data it processes to that which is relevant for the purposes of the particular processing. **Soutron Global Inc **does not process Customer Personal Data in ways that are incompatible with the purposes for which the information was collected or subsequently authorized by the relevant customer. In addition **Soutron Global Inc **takes reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Data processed is (i) reliable for its intended use, and (ii) accurate, complete and current. In this regard, **Soutron Global Inc **relies on its customers to update and correct the relevant personal data to the extent necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected or subsequently authorized. Subject to applicable law, **Soutron Global Inc **retains Customer Personal Data in a form that identifies or renders identifiable the relevant customer only for as long as it serves a purpose that is compatible with the purposes for which the personal data was collected or subsequently authorized by the customer.

## Access

To the extent required by the DPF Principles, **Soutron Global Inc **will provide certain rights over Personal Data, including rights of access, correction, amendment, and deletion, subject to certain exceptions.

## Exercising Rights & Dispute Resolution

In compliance with the DPF, **Soutron Global Inc **commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of Personal Data. E.U., E.E.A., Swiss, and U.K. individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of Personal Data received in reliance on the DPF should first contact **Soutron Global Inc **at [privacy@soutron.com](mailto:privacy@soutron.com).

In compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), **Soutron Global Inc **commits to cooperate and comply with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (“DPAs”) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) with regard to unresolved complaints concerning our handling of data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and Swiss-U.S. DPF.

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the DPF Principals website [https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/](https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/), you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.
